Out off Ljusterö islands in the southern part of Roslagen lies the islands of Ingmarsö, Finnhamn, Särsö and Husarö, more or less one after the other. Around the islands there are relatively sheltered kayaking waters, despite the vicinity of the outer archipelago. Here you can discover countless bays and sounds on your way to Hallonstenarna nature reserve.

Between Kålgårdsön, Stora Jolpan and Idholmen you can find a very beautiful and sheltered inner bay. On Söder-Långholm between Finnhamn and Särsö there are wonderful cliffs which are like made for barefoot excursions. Finally, out on Hallonstenarna you can see wide Svartlöga waters stretching out to the horizon. When the sea is calm, and if you are lucky, you can hear peculiar sounds out at the sea; there is a seal colony on the nearby skerries.

You can buy provisions on Ingmarsö, Finnhamn and Husarö. Kayaks can be rented on southern Ingmarsö when you arrive by Waxholmsbåt ferry from Stockholm or Vaxholm. On Västra Lagnö in Ljusterö there is also a kayak rental.
