Feel the salty splashes and the fresh sea air! The archipelago is near and you can make our suggested route both shorter and longer – the choice is yours! On the way back on day four you can stay overnight in Godby (additional charge) in order to see more of the sights of Sund. On the archipelago ferries passengers and bicycles travel for free!

Day 1
Mariehamn – Lemland – Lumparland
Svinö harbour (Föglö ferry) – Degerby, accommodation at Degerby Mat & Café, c. 23 km.

Day 2
Degerby – Finholma – Embarsund (cable ferry 24 hours) – Överö harbour – Snäckö, Kumlinge (archipelago ferry ’transverse line’ 1 hour, accommodation at e.g. Länsmans Värdshus, c. 28 km.

Day 3
Kumlinge – Hummelvik, Vårdö (archipelago ferry ’northern line’ 1 hour 15 minutes) – Bomarsund, accommodation at Prästö cabins, c. 20 km.

Day 4
Bomarsund – Godby – Mariehamn, c. 44 km.

Price
from 1567 kr/189,60 euro per person.

The price of a cycling package includes

  • return ferry trip to Åland
  • three-geared bicycle, basket and helmet
  • accommodation, sometimes in a room, bed linen and breakfast

Additional fee for bicycle ferries.
