Väddö is the largest island in Roslagen region with Väddö canal facing the mainland and with a fantastic view across the Åland Sea on the other side. Here there are plenty of favourite spots waiting to be discovered.

Mats Persgården is situated 3 kilometres south of Grisslehamn on the northern part of Väddö. Here you can start a wonderful archipelago excursion via Grisslehamn, Fogdö and Singö. Enjoy the view over the Åland Sea and see Svartklubben lighthouse, boat sheds at Backbyn, and the beautiful wooden church of Singö from 1753.

On the way back you can stop by at the charming archipelago community of Grisslehamn with boats and fishing traditions. Here you can find an abundance of cafés, restaurants and fresh and smoked fish stalls. Our popular route suggestions include a 15-kilometre long half day tour and a 35-kilometre whole day tour.

We offer tranquil accommodation in double or single rooms in our genuine Roslagsgård. There is an access to a wood-heated sauna and there is a jetty for bathing in a walking distance at Väddöviken. The price includes one accommodation in a double room, bed linen and towels. Bicycle rent for two days and a sauna at the night of arrival. Breakfast buffet with home-baked bread and fresh farm eggs. You can pick your own tasty lunch basket from the breakfast buffet. Cycling map, route suggestion and excursion gear with thermos bottle and bicycle basket are included. Bring along bikes and helmets for your children.

By bus from Stockholm
Take a bus number 640 to Norrtälje from Tekniska Högskolan bus station in Stockholm and then change into the bus number 637. The journey takes c. 2 hours. Our place bus stop is called "Tomta Såg". From the bus stop there is a 5-minute walk to us.
